Attention Aviation Assets Students! 2010
Florida Trip!
In an effort to get some quality flight time done through
this long winter, we are offering a very cool opportunity to
leave the cold behind and go flying! Aviation Assets is
proud to offer our Second Annual long cross-country trip!
This year, we are headed to Florida, where we will be flying
cross-country in our airplanes and then be down there to get
many of your flight lessons done. (see
2009 Arizona X/C Pictures)
We are opening up this trip to ALL students, so it doesn't
matter what you are working on; Student pilots all the way
through ATP students are included. We are trying to bring as
many airplanes as possible, so if you have interest in a
Multi-Engine add on certificate or logging some Multi-Engine
time, this is a great way to build up that cross-country
time. (Last year, in one week our students built up to 40
hours of cross-country time)!
The trip date is scheduled for March 3-10, 2010. (Dates
subject to change due to weather, but were trying to keep it
in this time frame due to MSU and WMUs Spring breaks are
those two weeks). This will be a student-planned event with
Aviation Assets Flight Instructors supervising. We are
checking in to different hotel rates and how many rooms we
would need. You will be responsible for your own food, your
own flight times and lodging costs.
We have opened the trip up to friends and family members on
a space available basis. In other words, our students and
instructors will definitely be able to go and then if there
is room, your guest may come. (Space is limited to only
one guest per training student and they will have to pay
the pro rata share as well).
If you are interested in going or if you have any questions,
please contact our office at 269.492.9100.
