Commercial Pilot Flight Training
The Commercial Pilot Certificate allows an individual to receive compensation for flying.  The privileges associated with a Commercial Certificate could include flying for an airline, a corporate flight department, scenic flights, crop dusting, aerial photography, and many others.  This certificate opens the door to an enjoyable career in aviation.

Third Coast Aviation offers Commercial Training in both single and multi-engine aircraft.  The FAA flight requirements to obtain the Commercial Certificate are a minimum of 250 hours total time, including 20 hours of dual instruction toward the commercial certificate.

Multi-Engine Initial
This course is designed to obtain 50 hours of multi-engine flight time and a Commercial Pilot Certificate. This course utilizes our Piper Seneca and our Cessna 172's.  Some of the highlights of this course include: multi-engine operations, cross country flights, instrument procedures, emergency operations and many more.

Single-Engine Initial
This course provides the training necessary to obtain a Single-Engine Commercial Certificate.  The course can be completed in any of our single engine aircraft and also includes 20 hrs in our complex aircraft (Piper Arrow).  This certificate is advantageous for anyone who would like to fly a single engine aircraft for hire.
